I use an integrative approach adapting and using flexibility so the counselling is unique to you, and is the best for your needs. It is really important that you feel safe and secure, a rapport and trust is crucial between us and I certainly feel that I can offer you a place where you will feel you can be open and honest, so we can explore the issues and difficulties you may be having.
Counselling offers you the opportunity to talk in a non-judgemental and private environment. With specific knowledge, I offer a variety of therapeutic approaches, tasks and tools that help in gaining an understanding for your behaviours thoughts and beliefs. Using person centred and CBT approaches with other influences helping you to work through issues that have led you to counselling.
As a person that people have always found warming and easy to talk to I intend to offer you a safe and inviting place where you can feel at ease, offering support for you to gain a better understanding. Our sessions will last for however long in a time it takes dependant on the issues raised for you to feel happier, healed, content and fulfilled. If at any time I feel you may be better treated elsewhere I will refer you on to someone.
I have year’s worth of recognised training and qualifications, I am an accredited member of The National Counselling Society. And work within the ethical framework of good practice.
