Family, relationship and youth counselling

Working with many generations of patients over the years enabled me to have a skillset of being able to relate to young children adults and older patients.

I have worked for Mencap and with a family charity offering support, listening and guidance to all members of the family.

I have worked with couples and relationships with many issues from financial pressures, infidelity, addictions, infertility problems, seeing clients as individual’s using therapy and approaches that are the best for them as a unique individual helping them to gain understanding and explore what is important to them and the life they wish to lead, covering compromise, beliefs and values.

Working in youth counselling I have gained experience of working with teenagers and young adults for many issues and in different situations, from family. bullying, confidence, sexual issues, exams nerves, driving test fears, to bereavement, addiction, anger issues, self-harm and eating disorders.

Continuing Counselling and Therapies for current and longer term clients-. Availability for new and previous clients is opened up regularly at our clinics. We will follow the guidance of our professional bodies as to which method types can be used phone, online, walk and talk, face to face the natural environment’s we offer enable support and therapy to continue at a time when it is needed. Uncertainty and this unprecedented time we find ourselves in has impacted us all in some way. Our mental health is an important part of how we will cope through this and the future times ahead. The therapies offered are extra reduced to help those requiring it to access it helping adjustment and adaptability to our new usual.
